Today I took refuge in my recent RAW files, whenever I do this I always resort to my newest files, as I don't feel comfortable reviewing photos I took a long time ago, I even use to delete lots of photos from my drives and I don't have anything in any cloud storage service. So surely #Hive is perhaps the most lasting record that remains of my photos... I don't know, over the years I feel good about detaching from almost everything. It's not that I've ended up being an ascetic or anything like that, but I like to go through life more and more unburdened, and that includes a lot of things, even some memories... But I don't want to extend too much, in fact the interesting thing here are these photos that I brought to share and not my increasingly strange habits of going through life with less and less luggage...
Hoy me refugié en mis recientes archivos RAW, siempre que hago esto recurro a mis archivos más nuevos, pues no me siento cómodo revisando fotos que haya hecho hace mucho tiempo atrás, incluso acostumbro a borrar montones de fotos de mis discos y no tengo nada en ningún servicio de almacenamiento en la nube. Así que seguramente #Hive es quizás el registro más duradero que va quedando de mis fotografías... No sé, con el paso de los años me siento bien desapegándome de casi todo. No se trata de que haya terminado siendo un asceta o algo por el estilo, pero me gusta ir por la vida cada vez más descargado, y eso incluye muchas cosas, incluso algunas memorias... Pero no quiero extenderme demasiado, en realidad aquí lo interesante son estas fotos que traje para compartir y no mis cada vez más extrañas costumbres de ir por la vida con cada vez menos equipaje...

I chose a handful of photos with B&W in mind as I searched through my files, and as I selected them I kept in my mind what made me think of them as I looked at them. Then I spent several hours editing each photo and looking at the details. For me this activity is something really reconstructive, it calms me, it makes me feel good... I'm very lucky to find peace and quiet doing this, I'm very lucky to have a place to share what I do and even receive recognition in return. Maybe that's why I'm so committed to sharing my work on #Hive... I still think, as I did at the beginning of my time here, that this is an ideal corner of the #web3 to be, to create and to continue...
Escogí un puñado de fotos pensando en B&W mientras buscaba en mis archivos, mientras las seleccionaba iba guardando en mi mente aquello en lo cual me hacía pensar mientras las observaba. Luego estuve varias horas editando cada fotos y mirando los detalles. Para mi esta actividad es algo realmente reconstructivo, me calma, me hace sentir bien... Tengo mucha suerte por encontrar sosiego haciendo esto, tengo mucha suerte por poder tener en donde compartir lo que hago e incluso recibir algún reconocimiento a cambio. Quizás a eso se debe el que me haya comprometido tanto con compartir mis trabajos en #Hive... Sigo pensando, como al principio de mi tiempo aquí, que este es un rincón ideal de la #web3 para estar, crear y ser...

I put short titles, I don't know exactly why I did it this way.... I guess the randomness of these photos, their casual nature in some cases and my marked willingness today to do something relaxing, prompted me to be as minimalist as possible with the titles for each photo. I think it turned out well...
Puse títulos cortos, no sé exactamente porqué lo hice así... Supongo que la aleatoriedad de estas fotos, su carácter casual en algunos casos y mi marcada disposición de hoy para hacer algo relajante, me impulsó a ser lo más minimalista posible con los títulos para cada foto. Me parece que resultó bien...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
