Street photography constitutes a "divine chaos" where just by turning your head a few degrees, the available scenes display an intense diversity and constant change. It's because of this that this type of photography often hooks many and never lets them escape from its pleasant embrace. However, street photography is also "very human" so we will not fail to find in its exercise, a certain amount of realities which can touch our innermost fibers.
La fotografía de callejera constituye un "divino caos" en donde con solo girar la cabeza unos cuantos grados, las escenas disponibles hacen gala de una intensa diversidad y un cambio constante. Es entonces debido a esto que este tipo de fotografía suele enganchar a muchos para más nunca dejarlos escapar de su agradable abrazo. Sin embargo, la fotografía de calles es también "muy humana" así que no dejaremos de encontrarnos en su ejercicio, cierta cantidad de realidades las cuales pueden tocarnos nuestras fibras más internas.

I usually go through the streets and with every meter I walk I get more immersed in the sequences of events that may be happening around me. Occasionally I am interrupted by a familiar person greeting me and there are even some who ask for a photograph, however I try to avoid stopping too long, because what I am passionate about is wandering around concentrating on taking pictures and at times even losing the sense of time.
Yo suelo ir por las calles y con cada metro recorrido me sumerjo más en las secuencias de eventos que pueden estar ocurriendo a mi alrededor. De vez en cuando soy interrumpido por alguna persona conocida saludándome e inclusive hay algunos que piden una fotografía, sin embargo procuro evitar detenerme demasiado tiempo, pues lo que me apasiona es deambular por ahí concentrado en hacer las fotos llegando inclusive por momentos a perder el sentido del tiempo.

Human nature, the presence of people I mean, invariably becomes a myriad of changing and exquisitely complex situations. It is not necessary to have hundreds of streets, nor a big city, to take this kind of photographs. A few blocks are enough to have a universe of opportunities to be recorded in an image. This is something I call "neighborhood perception" and it's something that happens to me every time I wander through the streets of town with my camera.
La naturaleza humana, la presencia de las personas quiero decir, deviene invariablemente en un sinfín de situaciones cambiantes y exquisitamente complejas. No hace falta disponer de cientos de calles, tampoco de una gran ciudad para hacer este tipo de fotografías. Bastan unas cuantas cuadras para disponer de un universo de oportunidades propicias para registrase en una imagen. Esto es algo a lo que llamo "percepción de vecindario" y es algo que me sucede cada vez que deambulo llevando mi cámara por lasa calles del pueblo.

In my case this is a daily catharsis. Since 2020 I work trading electronic parts and some gadgets in my own home, also some dabbling to make a profit with crypto assets. That is something typical of economies affected by economic and social crises I guess. Then, being so much time at home, it became much more necessary for me to include in my daily routine this kind of walks during the mornings and take advantage of them to take pictures. I must confess that this has become a fundamental part of my activities and I have loved having a fantastic place like #Hive to be able to share what I do and especially having #monomad to "put all this in black and white and post it here"... This has been something lovely really!.
En mi caso esto es una catarsis cotidiana. Desde 2020 trabajo comercializando partes electrónicas y algunos gadgets en mi propia casa, también algo algunos pininos para logar ganancias con cripto activos. Eso es algo típico de economías afectadas por crisis económicas y sociales supongo. Entonces, al estar tanto tiempo en mi casa, se me hizo mucho más necesario incluir en mi rutina diaria este tipo de caminatas durante las mañanas y aprovecharlas para hacer fotografías. Debo confesar que esto se ha vuelto parte fundamental de mis actividades y me ha encantado disponer de un lugar fantástico como #Hive para poder compartir lo que hago y en especial tener a #monomad para "poner todo esto en blanco y negro y colocarlo aquí"... ¡Esto ha sido algo encantador realmente!

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
