There are few things more restorative than a long, carefree walk through the streets of a town with little stories... And when this is done in the streets of the town where you've lived forever, then you get the feeling that you've stepped out onto your backyard for a breath of air while some of the problems that came alone, leave just as alone as they came... I don't always go for a walk to take my mind off the problems. Sometimes I go out to take pictures specifically, sometimes I go out to buy some things or to fulfill some commitments of different kinds... But yes, many times I do it to realize that some problems go away by themselves, as if they were something imaginary...

The streets, sometimes at least, become a kind of “tool for reflection”... There is something about wandering aimlessly through the streets that serves as an “escape valve” for the mind saturated with conflicting thoughts. Then, the simple fact of diverting the attention towards the minuscule events in the streets, towards the images as if cut out or delimited in a larger plane, towards that multitude of animated or immobile elements, becomes an easy enough exercise to meditate, to make introspection, to pray or whatever you want to call “that state” in which the own activity seems to flow without effort and to submerge us in a pleasant, uncomplicated, light state of existence...

I love taking pictures (I assume it shows a lot 😆) but from this walking around the streets taking pictures, I also love very much what happens while this is happening... There's something close to “isolation” when I'm out on the street observing. And I'm a guy who has been overwhelmingly attracted to isolation since I was a kid... The streets, when one walks through them observing them and capturing them with the camera, become a kind of “accompanied solitude” where we can feel isolated by a kind of membrane which corresponds to our role of observer, so different from that of the others who are there living in their less complex daily life...

Hehehehe :)) Actually I was taking a picture of the cat and the appearance of that motorcycle was pure chance!... But I think it looks good!... Thank you very much for stopping by and supporting my work, I'm very honored @bleujay friend!

Great shots!!

Thanks for appreciating my work @phage93 friend!...🙏

:)

Yes, I saw the cat through his legs 😄However, to see the cat, you must look at the picture carefully. Besides, it was nice to see the airplanes above the trees. It was great to see the beautiful, eye-catching pictures again.

Hehehe... Yes, that cat was left there by sheer luck!.... By the way, there is a flyway over the village and it looks like it passes right over that tree!.... Almost every time I pass by there I can see airplanes flying between its branches! :)) Thanks for stopping by and supporting my work @shopnilhasan!

Certainly, I also loved taking that photo with the shadow on Rafael's back, there's a lot of things there, it's delightfully complex I think... Thanks again!... 🙏
