I am obsessed by taking pictures of streets shrouded in fog. When this happens in my village, I usually run out of my house with my camera in my hand and I may even forget to eat breakfast because of my fascination for these streets dramatised by this relatively frequent weather phenomenon here in my village...

Cuando esto sucede en mi pueblo, suelo salir casi corriendo de mi casa con mi cámara en la mano e incluso es posible que olvide desayunar debido a mi fascinación por estas calles dramatizadas gracias a este fenómeno climático relativamente frecuente aquí en mi pueblo...

These are photos from last February and so far in March.... Lately we have had less foggy mornings, so this has made me take more advantage of them. I can even say that it's a bit "easy" to find photos to take in this environment, because the fog generates a thousand additional situations.... Besides... I feel like I can stealthily go through the streets taking pictures and I love it!.... :))
Estas son fotos del pasado febrero y lo que ha transcurrido de marzo... Últimamente hemos tenido menos mañanas con niebla, así que esto me ha hecho aprovechar más cuando ocurren. Puedo decir que inclusive es un poco "fácil" encontrar fotos para hacer en este entorno, porque la niebla genera mil situaciones adicionales.... Además... ¡Siento como si pudiese ir furtivo por las calles haciendo fotos y esto me encanta!... :))

I have put in the title "6 to 7 a.m." but this is perhaps the hours between which I usually go out to make this kind of photos. Actually I can be out on the streets until 9 a.m., because at this time the fog starts to evaporate and the solar radiation becomes strong... But, certainly, the photos that I like the most are in those early hours...
He colocado en el título "6 a 7 a.m." pero esto es quizás las horas entre las que suelo salir a hacer este tipo de fotos. En realidad puedo estar hasta las 9 AM en las calles, pues a esta hora la niebla comienza a evaporarse y la radiación solar se hace fuerte... Pero, ciertamente, las fotos que más me gustan son a esas primeras horas...

I look at these photos and I reflect.... Many of them have dogs, it's amazing how dogs are part of my streets and my photographic language. I also find in them a lot of drama and a raw vision of people being themselves... I've actually grown a lot as a photographer since I found #Hive and especially #monomad... I'm not just talking about the technical aspect, but how I've grown by focusing on the meaning of each photo I take and how they convey my surroundings... This is definitely a good thing...
Miro estas fotos y reflexiono... Muchas de ellas tienen perros, es increíble como los perros forman parte de mis calles y de mi lenguaje fotográfico. También encuentro en ellas mucho drama y una visión cruda de las personas siendo ellas mismas... En realidad he crecido mucho como fotógrafo desde que encontré #Hive y en especial #monomad... No me refiero solo al aspecto técnico, sino a como he crecido apuntando al significado de cada foto que hago y como transmiten ellas mi entorno... Esto es, en definitiva, algo bueno...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Me encantan esas fotografías con niebla, no sabía que allá el tiempo climático era así.
Cuando menos unos 100 amaneceres al año tenemos niebla en las mañanas del pueblo. No siempre es una niebla con clima frío. Algunas veces la temperatura matinal puede ser alta pero hay neblina producto de la condensación de la humedad que se viene desde el Este y encerrándose en el valle gracias a una "herradura" de montañas que lo cierra desde por el Sur-Oeste-Norte... Se trata de un fenómeno más relativo al relieve de la zona que a un clima frío como tal... ;)
