Wow, that's amazing! I wasn't aware that South Africa also utilized similar technologies for tricycles for its transportation systems. And I'm pretty sure that you had lots of fun onboard these interesting vehicles during your younger days.
I could simply imagine how tiresome it is with the amount of physical labor human-powered tricycles require, just like the pedicabs (trisikads) in the Philippines that are foot- pedalled. Thank you for your kindness and eye-opening story! 😊
