Hola Hivers y amantes de la fotografía. Durante mi recorrido en el mundo fotográfico me he trazado algunos objetivos para perfeccionar mis fotografías y compartirlas. Uno de los objetivos es la creación de series fotográficas hechas por mí con fin de organizar mejor mi trabajo. Una de las series en las que he pensado mucho tiempo está enfocada principalmente en personas representativas de mi país. La serie la llamo actualmente como “Rostros de mi Cuba” en donde me enfocaré en capturar fotografías a personas cubanas en momentos naturales de su vida, es decir, sin que observen que les tomo fotografías y modifiquen su comportamiento. Dichas fotos son luego enseñadas a estas personas con el fin de buscar su aprobación para publicarlas en esta plataforma y que formen parte de mi portafolio.

Hi Hivers and photography lovers. During my journey in the photographic world I have set myself some objectives to perfect my photographs and share them. One of the objectives is the creation of photographic series made by me in order to better organize my work. One of the series that I have thought about for a long time is mainly focused on people who are representative of my country. I currently call the series "Faces of my Cuba" where I will focus on capturing photographs of Cuban people in natural moments of their lives, that is, without them observing that I take photographs of them and modifying their behavior. These photos are then shown to these people in order to seek their approval to publish them on this platform and make them part of my portfolio.

Para empezar esta serie les muestro tres fotografías de personas corrientes de mi ciudad. Las capturas las realicé durante una caminata por el municipio Habana Vieja en La Habana. Para impedir que los retratados se dieran cuenta que estaba fotografiándolos utilicé un objetivo tele de 300 mm. La larga distancia que me facilita este objetivo me permite tomar capturas que no condicionan el comportamiento de las personas.

To start this series I show you three photographs of ordinary people in my city. I made the captures during a walk through the Habana Vieja municipality in Havana. To prevent the subjects from realizing that I was photographing them, I used a 300mm telephoto lens. The long distance that this lens facilitates me allows me to take shots that do not affect the behavior of people.
