Black and white is often attributed to sadness, melancholy, and even death. I won't say whether it's true or not, but it depends on the moment and emotional state you're in. I didn't take these photos thinking they would look "dark," but upon seeing them, they have a touch of melancholy.

El blanco y negro suele ser atribuido a la tristeza, melancolía, hasta a la muerte. No diré que es cierto o que no lo es, pero definitivamente del momento y del estado emocional que tengas. Estas fotos no las tomé pensando en que se vieran “oscuras”, pero al verlas, defintivamente tienen un toque de melancolía.
