ENGLISH

I don't believe that a band should have a stage just because they play songs by other artists. That is, doing tributes to bands. In Venezuela, it has become an alternative for organizers to attract an audience, reducing the opportunities to promote their own, original music. These photos were taken of a band that plays versions of Gustavo Cerati, a very famous Argentine singer-songwriter in Latin America, they are called Ooparts. I know their lead singer, who is also a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Seeing him on this stage, which is the main one in the city, is gratifying because he does what he loves, but at the cost of the success of an artist who is already deceased.
