Monomad : Scary Mary - Lead Church

Hi,
Its been a while since I last posted on here, mainly some health reasons so have not been out with the camera.

The haunting of St Marys Chaple

A few of us went out the other night to St Mary's Chapel also know as the Lead Church. Its a small chapel in the middle of fields to the west of the village of Saxton, North Yorkshire. It dates form the 14th century.

Once we arrived we were greeted with the possessed sole looking out the window for us, after which she then moved and picked up a candle and just stared down the chapel at us.

Then her head started to shake.

We just watched as she moved around staring at nothing

Then she just sat and watched before climbing up and standing there motionless and frozen.

Hope you liked the photos. It was a good night with thanks to Ellie Hannah for modelling and braving the cold.
