Geysir is indeed the place that gave the name to all the other geysers around the world :)
One of the biggest natural and tourist attractions in Iceland, about 80 kilometers away from the capital Reykjavík.
Definitely one of the places with the most visitors and I know what's the reason. To be able to witness that eruption, the anticipation and watching the giant water bubble slowly grow until in finally bursts or I should rather say "explodes" and then hides the sun. It goes very high, check out my photos to see the silhouettes of the observers around for scale.
