It was a warm night, a Thursday with lovely evening and I was invited to join a party with elements of rehearsal at one of the most iconic and famous parks in the center of Sofia, the capital of Bugaria.
The city garden in front of the National Theater "Ivan Vazov".
A place where the young spirit of the Bulgarian capital could be sensed and see. A place, also loved by the chess players who could always be seen playing the best game in the world. A place also loved by the tourists as it is close to many things that could be seen and experienced around. A garden with photo exhibitions too. Probably the only garden in the city, always full even in the early hours of the day.
Wait, I mentioned "rehearsal" above but I didn't provide any more info about it? Right, I did that :) My friends from "Divinitas Fire Show" invited me to join that party with nice chats and fire poi shows, this time not commercial, but just for fun. Not only fire but with some LED equipment too, as you'll see on the first photo.
Of course, I was prepared in a good way, having my tripod and a few of my lenses with me too. So while I was waiting for the actions, I was browsing the night area around and taking some long exposure pictures. Maybe only to justify bringing the heavy, more than three kilograms tripod, LOLOLOL :)
By the way, speaking of fountains in Sofia, the best two that pop out instantly, are this one, in front of the theater and the second one is in front of the presidency but I will show you photographs from that place in a future post. So stay tuned if you're interested ;)
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. Have a great day, stay safe, stay strong and let your muse be always on your shoulder!
The black and white gives this park that little extra dimension. The first fountain photo is stunning. And the shot of the elongated fountain/ pond with the architecture of the building in the back of the park… great shot. 😎
Thank you :) I am sure you'll like that garden also in day light. There's really something special about it.

.Aw man, you captured that garden superbly. I'm not sure I even want to see those pictures in colour, either; they're awesome just the way they are.
Thanks a lot! :)
A lot of green and blue, some yellow from the light sources :) Not that much colorful as I'd like them :P
Thank you guys :)
