Once upon a time, in another century, in another millennium, there was this local tradition where homes, matching certain criteria had been given such sights.
If I try to translate that into English, it must be something like "Model Home" or "Exemplary Home". Some people have been very proud to have those on their front doors or fences.
This is now almost forgotten and abandoned as an idea.
Outside the center of event, is that what is called "rural". I love this though, as here, lots of things could be seen that are impossible to see in the big city.
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
