Port Angles - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

Sea and ocean ports always fascinate me. I cannot explain why. Probably because I was born and raised far away from a sea or an ocean. I love the endlessness of the sea horizons and the freedom they give me when I stare at the blue waters.

In that regards, the ports are the gates to that vastness and freedom.

So always, of course, whenever I have the opportunity, instead of just sitting by the shore or on a beautiful beach, I prefer to wander around the port, and search for different angles and points of view to photograph.

Here are some perspectives in Black and White, that show the "soul", in my humble opinion, of the port of Varna, on Black Sea, in Bulgaria. 2022 :)

The port is huge and this time I visited its civic, and not the industrial part. Both parts are totally worth it to be fully explored!

Who knows, probably one day I will be able to moor one yacht, or sail away from there... <3 Wish me that luck! :)

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
