RE: Discovering Serbia, in Black & White, in 15 photos - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

i could be bias, but i feel that there is no controversial part there, especially in those rural places. people there are mostly really welcoming, language could be a problem.

We had an interesting rendezvous next to a small clay-bricks house where an old man popped out of the house with a shotgun. We stopped by the road to take few photos as the mountain landscapes were awesome. He asked us who we are and what are we doing. We were outside of his property. Thanks that one of my friends spoke a descent Serbian, who knows what could've happen otherwise... At the end the man calmed down and later he tried to sell us his quince brandy, LOL :D

As a side note, have you seen the return of the @travelcontest contests? You're invited and welcome! :)

well that was an interesting experience 😂

you should have probably buy it, in those places most people make their own "rakija" and it is usually pretty good :D

missed the trevelcontest, have to check it out and would be nice to start some traveling again :D

I was the unlucky driver, so I only tasted it but the other three friends had a small (50 ml) glass of rakija :) I don't recall if anyone of them bought a bottle, it was indeed a home-made :)
