With Tuscany in my Heart /12 photos/ - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

Oh no!

Busy busy last few days and I realized I haven't posted recently any of my favorite Black and White Photographs. So let me resolve that injustice now with that dozen of newly post-processed monoloved pictures from one of the most amazing places I've ever traveled to :)

The shapes and soul of Tuscany, Italy <3

  • The endless rows of vines
  • Taking care of the fireplace (long exposure self-portrait)
  • The famous curved stone tiled pathway
  • The singing black crow above the church window
  • The flower trying to escape prison
  • The mystic forest under the city
  • The sad guardian
  • The curvy field
  • The medieval place of prayer
  • The shiny street
  • The enchanted valley
  • The hazy path to the hill town

I hope those speak to you with the beauty they spoke to me back then. Can you open your heart to the soul of the B&W art? :)

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by @monochromes, supported by @qurator, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

Very nice... I agree with you on the Black and White photos showing a side that we would normally not see because we are distracted by the beautiful colors.

Indeed!
Thank you :)

Looks really nice in monochrome, especially the old ways through the city .. but I believe that in colour it would not look a little bit less beautiful there 😉

Heheh, true! I have posted in color from there too, it's just that some of the photos only "speak" to me in B&W.

Thank you :)

Each of your photographs is a scene worthy of admiration. If feeling that sense of mystery and a certain nostalgia in black and white can be considered a soul, then your images have it. The first photograph impressed me because the field looks like a curtain behind the trees. However, your other photos are also extraordinary. I highlight the first panoramic image that shows a sway in the topography and the last photo that appears to be a sunset. The images of the streets, houses and structures give that character and texture of a town with very traditional roots. Excellent post my friend!

Thanks a lot for stopping by and for all those kind words. It seems I'll have to find more time to check your wonderful visual stories too! :) Keep it up :)

Great job with these B&W again do love that 3rd photo just awesome bro 👍
