Climate change around the world makes mammals in the sea endangered like this little black called a turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea), this animal is called a turtle because life in the sea is different from turtles that live in the forest, forest turtles have characteristics Its body is round, while the turtle or the type of curved turtle, has a black color and is slightly smaller.

This type of mammal has four legs and grows hard, while for turtles, children are usually small crabs or animals that are easily caught on the seabed, usually, they are separated from their mothers for a month after hatching.

Females or turtles lay eggs on beaches that are rarely visited by humans, unique when they lay eggs not looking for food before their eggs hatch in the sand, while male turtles stand guard around female turtles lay eggs. Turtle eggs are often hunted by humans to be traded to make traditional medicines.

Indonesian turtles are very easy to find, besides turtles, there are also several other types and a variety of colors. In addition to being often hunted by humans, these animals are also threatened with extinction due to environmental pollution in the sea such as consuming plastic waste and marine predators that make them die, besides that sea turtle eggs are also often disturbed by land animals.

According to the fishermen at my place of photography, previously eggs on the beach were very easy to find, but after many people chased their eggs, they moved to another place far from where residents lived. They even said that they had seen very large which reached hundreds of kilograms, even the type of turtle was found in trawl nets by fishermen who were fishing.

According to them, there is no awareness of irresponsible people who deliberately hunt turtle eggs, although we (fishermen) often find turtles caught in nets but we release them again because they are habitats that we must protect and preserve. We have even appealed to the local community, who saw people deliberately looking for sea turtle eggs to catch and we handed them over to the police.
