Cherry trees are one of my favorite trees, I think there are few that bear tasty fruit and beautiful flowers.
Already the cherry trees in the city are dressed in pink, adorning the parks and streets. I regret not having a macro lens to be able to take these tiny flowers in more detail, but I think my cell phone helps me a lot, or at least I think so.
Here in Vigo there are also Japanese cherry trees, these are denser but they bloom later in spring, I love them because their flowers are bigger and the tree is completely covered with them. I remember when I first arrived to this city, it was an October day and I saw the trees around the streets almost dead, they were just a few bare branches surviving, but when they began to bloom in spring I was impressed by such beauty, it was the first time I saw a cherry tree in full bloom!
Coming from a tropical climate I didn't notice the transformation of the trees from one season to another, in my country the trees were the same most of the year. But well, I guess you learn that as you travel and see new places.
I love the pink colors of these little flowers but I also like the black and white photos, I think they give it a melancholic touch and convey a bit of the cold I'm feeling right now!

Yes, my cell phone is very faithful, it doesn't work miracles but it doesn't let me down either!
