Yesterday, while walking through the Plaza Puerta del Sol in Vigo, I came across a scene that completely caught me and took me back to my childhood. A boy, with a contraption that I believe he invented himself, was with a patience and dexterity like that of a magician throwing huge soap bubbles into the air. It looked like a fantastic scene, the bubbles were huge but at the same time strong because they lasted quite a long time suspended in the air and even rose to great heights, they floated like small worlds suspended in space.
I took out my cell phone and without thinking I began to capture the magic before it disappeared. The bubbles reflected the light as if they were trapping the sky inside them, it was very windy so they were moving so fast that I almost didn't have time to take a picture of them. Children were running around, laughing, jumping, and trying to catch them to pop them.

Suddenly I found myself surrounded by so many bubbles in the middle of the square, not only as a spectator, but as part of that instant. Without realizing it, I was no longer just the person behind the camera; I was one more among the children, with an easy laugh, with my hands ready to touch the intangible. I was transported to my childhood.
Who as a child did not play making bubbles? It was one of the cheapest ways to enjoy, you only had to buy soap or steal from mom the one she used to wash the dishes, and you yourself with whatever you had at home you made the device to make the bubbles, the most important thing was to run after one of them before it disappeared, I remember it was a competition with my brothers. After a few moments I came back to reality and I was a little embarrassed with the parents who were there, so I kept taking my pictures! 😄
Sometimes, life gives us little moments, where we feel that time goes back and allows us to be children again, even if it's only for a few moments. Hasn't something similar happened to you? What do you think?
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Hi Joan!
So you played with bubbles too! They are very beautiful times in every person's childhood.
By the way the song is very beautiful, the singer has a very angelic voice. I guess you treasure that melody very much.

Have a bubbly day! 🤗
Songs played on radio when young, always related to something going on in real life. Might have a been a movie as Doris Day was an actress.
Vera Lynn sang this to Allied the forces in the 2nd World War, might have been a song from my parents had, this was their age group.
