Hi everyone, my friends in the black and white community. I hope you're all doing well and having a great time wherever you are. This is Manti, and I'm back with another photo shoot and another blog post. Actually,
this project was a commercial for the reopening of a men's hair salon and grooming salon. When we finished the work, we took a few photos of the model's face, a full-length shot while he was sitting on the couch and under the wall-mounted logo. The first photo you see shows a bracelet and our stylist who has tattooed the salon's unique logo on his wrist.
The video of the work will also be ready soon and I'll post it. The main theme of the video is the bracelet between the stylist and another person holding the clippers. The video's scenario is like this: our model, as a person on the run, is trying to escape and finally enters a barbershop, asking the stylist to change his appearance so he can't be recognized and leave the area.
We made it a bit fun, and it will be a very interesting video. As soon as we finish pre-production, which is currently underway, you dear ones will be the first to see this video on social media, directly from Hive.
I tried to focus more on the hairstyle and the details of the grooming, as well as the facial angles. Everything went very well, and it was a fantastic experience. It was exceptional for me.
One of the primary challenges we faced in this project was achieving proper lighting in a barbershop. Particularly when aiming to create contrast and highlight facial and hair details, lighting can be quite tricky. The presence of mirrors and reflective surfaces can scatter light and produce unwanted shadows. Additionally, barbershops are often small spaces, which can limit our ability to adjust lighting, move the camera, and create diverse angles.
I hope you have a good day. Thank you for being with me until the end of the post.
