Hello to all my dear friends in the black and white community. I hope you're all doing well and that everything is going smoothly there. It's me, Menti, and I'm back with another photoshoot and another blog post. Today's shoot was a wedding photography session featuring a beautiful couple in an outdoor setting, specifically a garden. They were celebrating the beginning of their lives together and their sacred bond of marriage in the presence of their loved ones. My task was to capture this couple's special day, and I started by taking solo shots of the bride. She was wearing a stunning pair of glasses as an accessory, a full-length white dress with a headpiece, and a modest, covered outfit that was appropriate for our customs and traditions.
The bride held a cascading bouquet, indicating her refined taste and discerning eye. This added a layer of complexity to my work as I sought to capture poses and moments that would satisfy both the couple, especially the bride. Next, we took photos with the bride's veil covering her face, using the mansion's architecture and the wedding decor as a backdrop. I then asked the bride to remove her veil so I could capture a shot of her beautiful face. I positioned myself beneath the veil, had my assistant hold the end, and took a photo as the bride gazed at her bouquet.
The following solo shot featured the bride seated in the wedding car. Since the car lacked unique decorations, I focused on the bride as the main subject. This post primarily showcases the bride's solo shots, which I've separated to allow for a more detailed exploration of the couple's interactions, the wedding decor, and the emotions they conveyed in the next part.
For the final photo, I captured a couple's shot in the wedding decor. I asked them to bring their rings closer to the camera, focusing on the rings as a symbol of their commitment. This is a great idea for wedding photos, as it captures the moment they vow to be together forever. The weather that day was partly cloudy, providing a soft, diffused light that was perfect for photography. It was like having a giant softbox in the sky!
