Macrame artist _ monomad daily chalenge

in Black And Whitelast month

Hello everyone, my friends in the black and white community. It's Manti, and I'm back with another photography session and another blog post. I hope everything is going well over there.

Today, I want to introduce you to one of our city's artists whose craft is one of the traditional arts: macramé.

Her name is Shirin, and she is an incredibly respectable and independent woman. She must have worked hard for a long time to learn this art. She came to my studio so I could take some photos of her alongside the artistic masterpieces she had created with macramé.

It was a fantastic feeling to have an artist in front of my camera.

Because her macramé pieces were small, I used one of her own macramés as a background and placed it behind her, which is evident in some of the photos. I also had her hold the photos close to her so that the photos would be half-body shots. This allowed the macramés to be seen in more detail.

We ordered many things from her for our chairs and furnishings, and she prepared them very quickly, even though we wanted a large quantity. In the photo where she is looking at the product in her hand, a mother-child feeling has been created between her and the macramé in her hand, as if she and what she creates are born from the womb of her creative mind, bringing her into this world.

I highly recommend that housewives or even other people learn this beautiful art.

*Macramé is the art of creating intricate patterns and textures by knotting cords or strings. It's a form of textile-making that dates back centuries and involves using various knotting techniques to create everything from wall hangings and plant hangers to jewelry and clothing. Shirin's macramé pieces are particularly beautiful, showcasing her skill and creativity in transforming simple cords into elegant and eye-catching works of art.1. *

One of the macramés was round, and the other was cylindrical. We photographed them, and Shirin agreed to come back to the studio with her larger macramés, and we'll take more photos.

I'll share more of Shirin's artwork with you.

Thank you for being with me until the end of this post. Have a good day.
