Hello, Black and White Photography Lovers!
Welcome back to another exciting blog post! Today, I'm thrilled to share with you a new series of black and white portraits I captured in my studio. For this shoot, I experimented with natural light and a Venetian blind to create some dramatic and moody images. It's definitely the start of a new chapter for me as a photographer.

I had the pleasure of working with an incredibly strong and expressive model. He has a tough exterior, but I wanted to capture the softer side of his personality too. So, we played around with a variety of emotions, from joy and laughter to anger and sadness. That's the beauty of black and white photography; it allows us to focus on the raw emotions of our subjects.

I started by experimenting with different lenses and poses. The angle of the natural light was perfect, but it meant my model had to sit on the floor to get those incredible shadow patterns from the Venetian blind.

We kept trying different positions until we found something that really worked. One of my favorite shots is of him looking down with a slight frown. The combination of the low light and the intricate shadows created a really striking image.

For this shoot, I only used one reflector to fill in the shadows a bit and soften the overall look. I'm really happy with how these turned out, and I can't wait to share more with you in future blog posts.

The last photo was a wonderful portrait photo with a simple dark background and one-sided lighting, and I loved this profile photo.
It was very important to open the bottom of the legs as wide as the shoulders so that the style of the upper body fits better and the shoulders go down a little to make it look more elongated.

A huge thank you to the black and white photography community for your continued support. Your passion for this art form inspires me every day.

Nothing better than a window, it is perfect for the entrance of light and the effect you can achieve when composing.
