To take part in today's #monomad contest, I'd like to show you some Macro Photo of an Animal. The animal that I will share on this occasion is called a spider, a spider is an animal that has 8 legs so it is not included in the class of insects, while insects are animals that have 6 legs, and spiders are animals that belong to the class of Arachnid. I took these spiders in several places and at different times, but of course they are still in the vicinity not far from where I live, namely Aceh-Lhokseumawe.
"Argiope Bruennichi" is the name I found when I matched the photo in my smartphone gallery on the google lens, and after I found this spider's name I tried to browse and look for some information on wikipedia, and on wikipedia explained that ;
Argiope bruennichi (wasp spider) is a species of orb-web spider distributed throughout central Europe, northern Europe, north Africa, parts of Asia, and the Azores archipelago. . . . 👉Read more on Wikipedia
According to the information I found on wikipedia, it was also explained there that this spider makes its nest in a zig-zag shape, it makes its nest for about an hour, and the nest it makes to lure its prey, prey that has been caught in the spider's web. they will bite and then these spiders will inject a venom that contains food-solventing enzymes.
In the photo that I display in this post, it appears that this spider is preying on a butterfly, and it seems that the prey he managed to catch was a butterfly named "Danaus Genutia" ;
