My entry in today's Monomad Challenge, the Boulevard

Yesterday afternoon I was walking along the Colosio boulevard in Tepic Nayarit, it is a beautiful place because it is located next to the Mololoa river, and if it were not for the foul smell of the river everything would be perfect, the truth is that in this city there is no good treatment for sewage, and on the other side of the river is the area known as Ciudad Industrial, the place where many factories are located in addition to the city's slaughterhouse, that's where I think most of the contamination of the river comes from, but that's a topic for another post.

I have previously taken pictures in this place and it is not a new thing, but I have taken them at different times, at dawn, at noon and at night, but I think never at sunset, so yesterday I decided to stop and admire the site, I spent more than an hour looking at the site, plus I was also looking for the crocodiles that live there without success, anyway I hope you like this site with the trees.

To take these pictures I used the following equipment: Canon EOS M50 Mark II, Lens: Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM, the aperture was a little different in each picture but almost all of them were taken at f/10 and a shutter speed of 1/160, what I did was to shoot all the pictures in Monochrome because these pictures were intended for this post, in the following two pictures I am not convinced with the result and I need to analyze better the place to create a good perspective, we will see that in the next pictures I take in this site.

Right in the middle of the next photograph is an adult person riding his bicycle, we will see him again a little later, what I wanted was for you to see the Boulevard, it is not a big one but it is still good for photographs.

I turned around and looked the other way, looking for the best place to take the next picture, the good thing about a lens like the one I used is that you can capture a lot of the scene, the bad thing is that everything can look tiny especially when it comes to people.

And there goes the man, I think they formed a curious triangle with the people in the photograph, I think that's why I find this photograph so striking that I will even use it for a street photography contest, let's see how I do.

I turned around again and in the next picture I think I have a lot of work to do to make a good cityscape picture, but I need to take the picture with another lens to get the best sharpness instead of enlarging and cropping this one, I think it will look good, for the moment you can zoom in until you find the framing I'm talking about.

Now we come to the third most interesting part of the tour, the following benches caught my attention because of the color contrast they created in the landscape, that's why I decided to take the pictures and also why I decided to shoot with the monochromatic profile on the camera, so I would only concentrate on the light, and I look forward to your feedback on the technique.

And finally the photo of a duck, there are always ducks in the places where I take pictures, so although many of the pictures are similar I can not stop myself from taking new pictures, being animals that are very used to be in the same place, after taking many pictures I feel that I already know them and I recognize them when I get closer to take pictures, that way I know which animals tolerate my presence and I take advantage of it to get as close as possible, to take the picture of this duck I was less than a meter away, I challenge you to get close to a wild duck, thanks for seeing the post, and I hope you tell me if you were able to get closer.
