Today I want to show you the last pictures of the walk I took with the 55-250mm lens, there is one in particular that I consider the best picture of all and is the one I show you below, the focus mode was manual because as I said, when the subject to be photographed is white there are usually some problems with the autofocus.
Turtles are always present in the city parks and although sometimes they don't look so good in photographs I like to watch them and enjoy their shyness, it is always a challenge to take a good picture before they jump back into the water.
This bird is a type of heron I think, it was quite difficult to get the picture and I actually spent about half an hour looking for it in the branches of the trees, when I found it it flew to another tree and I had to start again, in the end it was the only picture I could take but I am happy with it.
And about the heron, the following two pictures were made with autofocus, they are not bad but they are not as good as the first picture of the post, so I have it clear, every time I can and have time to shoot in manual mode I will do it that way, with other lenses like the 50mm or the 24mm there is no problem of focus or much chromatic aberration, the important thing is to know the strengths and weaknesses of each lens.
Nice shots, I've always said that taking pictures of animals takes a lot of patience and you have that, I imagine you always take the time to get those results. Cheers !
