This is my entry to today's Monomad Challenge, Photographs with a lot of light and the 50mm.

I've been quite busy with work and especially thinking about how I'm going to deal with the heat during this year 2025, we are in the middle of February and it's the middle of Winter, and right now the temperature feels like summer, the truth is that I'm getting worried, so the pictures we will see today are from the last time I went for a walk almost at noon, that's why to take the pictures I used an ND filter to keep an interesting lens aperture.

But let's jump to the photos that were my favorites, which of course had to be of ducks, it is what is most abundant in the park and suddenly I get good pictures there, I hope you like them.

This duck kept moving, so taking the picture was a little tricky, but as you know, patience is my forte, so I was there until something good came out.

This time I walked from the house to the park, and on the way I could see this person trying to protect herself from the sun, the truth is that it was intense and I took the picture just to test how they would come out with so much light.

When I arrived at the park I took the following picture while I was resting under some trees, the truth is that while editing in Darktable I noticed a tool that I had not used before and I think the result was pretty good, soon I will share details when I learn how to use this feature.

And just to see the difference in the editing, I did a test edit like the ones I usually do, I hope you can see the difference and give me your opinion.

The ducks and geese were swimming in the sunlight, the white of their feathers created a rather curious effect, as if it were a photo montage, but it is not, it is a photograph with a lot of light.

By the end of the walk I saw this person observing the landscape, I have no idea of his thoughts but I hope he found the answer he was looking for.
