This is my entry to today's Monomad Challenge: we start this year with my cannabis plant.

First post of the year and the truth is that I want to make changes in my photography, Last year I did most of my pictures with the 24mm lens, and for this year I want to use more the 50mm and get more bokeh in each of the pictures. I even used the 24mm for some videos and I think they look pretty good, but well, the idea is to set a goal to accomplish during this year.

And the idea of using the 50mm is to force myself to go out on the streets as I did before, take night shots with the F/1.8 aperture of the lens and get better and different results, although when using that aperture comes the problems with the areas that look out of focus and I have to be very careful with the framing.

With that in mind today I got up and started to do some tests with a marijuana plant that I have at home, I am not an expert in its cultivation and it is not the best time to grow, so I think it is already close to the harvest time, it did not grow much but for spring when I sow seeds again I hope to get a good result.

I share with you the test pictures and at the end I leave you one in color so you can appreciate its beauty, I didn't use the tripod because it would have been too easy and as I said, I need to feel again the 50mm lens as part of my daily vision, practice is everything, see you soon.

Wow... Amazing results from the 50mm lens, I really like the bokeh and the detail of your cannabis plant also looks very good my friend.

Thank you very much, it really is a wonderful lens.
