Today, I want to change things up a bit with the kind of people I introduce to you.
This time, I’d like you to meet my friend Cristopher (or "Cris Eléctrico"). That’s his nickname: “El Eléctrico.” He’s a dancer and choreographer who lives very close to my house. We’ve known each other practically since we were kids and share a deep passion for tattoos. When he learned about my profession, he didn’t hesitate to ask me for a photo session.
Hoy vamos a cambiar un poco el tono de las personas que les presento.
En esta ocasión, quiero presentarles a mi amigo Cristopher (o "Cris Eléctrico"). Ese es su seudónimo: “El Eléctrico”. Es un bailarín y coreógrafo que vive muy cerca de mi casa. Nos conocemos prácticamente desde niños y compartimos una gran pasión por los tatuajes. Cuando supo de mi profesión, no dudó en pedirme que le hiciera una sesión de fotos.
We talked about the concept he wanted for the photos, the wardrobe, the style, and set dates and times to carry out the shoot.
Hablamos un poco sobre el tema que quería para sus fotos, el vestuario, el estilo, y establecimos fechas y horarios para llevarlas a cabo.
Even though the genre he dances is urban, I decided not to do the session outdoors because I wanted to highlight his appearance, which is truly remarkable. I didn’t want anything to take away from his presence, so we opted to shoot in a photography studio with a black background.
A pesar de que el género que baila es urbano, decidí no hacerle la sesión en la calle porque quería resaltar su aspecto, que realmente es genial. No quería quitarle ni un poco del protagonismo, así que optamos por hacer las fotos en un estudio fotográfico con un fondo negro.
The best part was that, being used to performing in public and under the spotlight, it was incredibly easy for him to pose for the camera. This made my job much easier, and the result was outstanding!
Lo mejor de todo fue que, al estar acostumbrado a estar en público y bajo la luz de los reflectores, le resultó súper fácil posar frente a la cámara. Esto hizo que mi trabajo fuera mucho más sencillo y el resultado fuera excelente.
