One of the branches of photography I like the least is child photography, mostly because I’m not very patient with kids—and even less with their parents...

Today, I’d like to introduce you to my eldest grandson. His name is Fabián, and while he’s a very calm child and quite attached to me, it doesn’t make working with kids any less challenging
En esta ocasión, quiero presentarles a mi nieto mayor. Su nombre es Fabián, y aunque es un niño muy tranquilo y apegado a mí, eso no quita lo complejo que puede ser trabajar con un niño.
This time, I only needed to take a simple ID photo for his school, but it turned into a two-hour photo session filled with laughter, silliness, grumpy faces, and a few scoldings from his mom, who ended up being the most stressful part of the day.
Esta vez, solo tenía que hacerle una foto tipo carnet para su escuela, pero terminó convirtiéndose en una sesión de fotos de casi dos horas, llenas de risas, payasadas, caras largas y algunos regaños por parte de su mamá, quien fue la que más me generó estrés.
I didn’t include the actual photo we sent to the school in this selection because I found all the other pictures we took that day much more fun and entertaining.
No incluí en esta selección la foto que enviamos a la escuela, ya que me parecieron mucho más divertidas todas las demás imágenes que tomé ese día.
