When you want to get the hang of your camera skills you have to practice a lot, and there is no better scenario than taking pictures of birds, the smaller the better. One exercises the mastery of the controls and, in addition, by far the patience 🙏.
That's what I said recently to a friend who, passionate about this world, required some training. Without thinking too much about it, we got down to work.
The photos are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.

There are several factors to consider: first, the bird species, and their behavior—are they calm or skittish? These are indispensable questions.
(Bee Hummingbird/ Zunzuncito)
Another crucial factor is the time of day, as some species are more or less active depending on the schedule.
Birds are mostly territorial and do not tolerate intruders; others, on the other hand, are too skittish, and finding them in good lighting conditions is almost impossible; they are almost always in dark areas.
(Cape May Warbler/ Bijirita Atigrada)
(Gray Catbird/Zorzal Gato)
If it is important to find the bird we want to photograph, it is equally important to find a suitable branch. How is it done? A lot of patience, using camouflage, measuring the light of the scene beforehand, and keeping your fingers crossed because luck is also a factor to consider.
(West Indian Woodpecker/Carpintero Jabado)
At the end of the day, we are truly exhausted, and for good reason—we had to travel over 200 km from home to find these species. Now, it’s not all work, you know; there’s also enjoyment in the company and what we learn along the way. Thank you, dear friends, for visiting my post, and I hope you enjoyed it. See you soon on the next photographic adventure. Until next time!

Beautiful birds my friend, I like them, can I know about the camera lens you are using today?
I feel like I have to get these birds around me🤣🤣
Hello dear friend, for these photos I used a Tamron 70-300mm lens. It's not the best lens for bird photography, but with patience, you can still achieve something. I'm sure there are beautiful birds where you live!
Oh... Thank you very much for telling me, that's right, indeed patience is needed in the world of photography if you want to produce maximum images.
Cool my friend👍
