Argiope aurantia is a master at building spider webs with radial lines connecting the center line to the edges. This finger is built to trap insects. Spider webs not only stretch but also have a sticky substance that makes trapped prey unable to escape.
Argiope has beautiful feet. The legs of the Argiope spider that I found are around 2.5 cm long. The front legs and hind legs are almost the same length. Its body, which is supported by the net, does not seem to waver when the wind blows it. This is because the strength of the net is strong, elastic and resistant to gusts of wind.
