Monomad: Thyreus With Its Contrasting Colors

IMG_20241217_155345.jpg

Not far from the house, there is an empty field overgrown with banana trees, wild trees, and bushes. The most enjoyable thing is when I explored the empty park, it turned out that there were so many insects that I didn't expect. With the insects perched on the branches and bushes, I was able to take some shots to add to my photo collection.

For example, the Thyreus bee that I found yesterday. Thyreus is a type of bee that sucks flower nectar. However, that day the bee was not sucking honey, but was sleeping on a dry branch. Seeing it sleeping, I didn't waste the rare opportunity, I immediately shot the sleeping bee. I also finished several shots. I was very happy to be able to photograph it without disturbing its deep sleep. From the few photos I took I can see the Thyreus with elegant contrasting colors.
