Monomad: Elegance in simplicity - with Gabriela [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

There are certain occasions when you have to improvise to take some pictures and this is what happened when Gabriela (the protagonist of these pictures) asked me to take some pictures she needed for her modeling school, I accepted, since I could use a little practice and I leave some pictures here, these were not the final ones, but I also liked them.

Hay ciertas ocasiones donde toca improvisar para hacer algunas fotografías y esto fue lo que ocurrió cuando Gabriela (la protagonista de estas fotografías) me pidió que le hiciera algunas fotografías que necesitaba para su escuela de modelaje, yo acepté, ya que me venía bien un poco de práctica y les dejo algunas fotografías por aquí, estas no fueron las finales, pero también me gustaron.

These pictures were taken indoors, but as you know when you don't have lighting equipment or a good light that can help in these circumstances it can be a little complicated, so I had to resort to my lately good friend the built-in flash of my camera, anyway it was better than doing nothing.

Estas fotografías las hicimos en interiores, pero como bien se sabe cuando no tienes equipo de iluminación o una buena luz que pueda ayudar en estas circunstancias puede resultar un poco complicado, por eso tuve que recurrir a mi últimamente buen amigo el flash integrado de mi cámara, de igual manera era mejor eso que quedarnos sin hacer nada.

They were different shots to make her stand out in different ways, but as always, I didn't pass up the opportunity to do some portraits, as it is one of the things I enjoy doing the most in photography, to highlight those gestures or features that can be found in faces.

Eran distintos planos para hacerla destacar de diferentes maneras, pero como siempre, no dejé pasar la oportunidad de hacer algunos retratos, ya que es una de las cosas que más disfruto hacer en la fotografía, para destacar esos gestos o características que se pueden encontrar en los rostros.

As I said, this was more practice for me and the final photos really worked for her. I even got some contacts for future sessions, so, everything was a success.
