This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
Hello again friends of the Black And White community, I hope you are having a good day. Some time ago, maybe a little over a year ago approximately, a friend I met on instagram who was in Colombia told me that she was coming to visit her family in Venezuela which is the country where I am from, then she made me promise that when she came I would take some pictures of her, soon after she returned to the country and insisted me for the photos to which I agreed because I liked the idea, The funny thing is that when we were already together and I told her to get ready to start taking pictures, she told me that the session was just an excuse to see each other, honestly I was amused but I told her that I wanted to take some pictures of her anyway to take advantage of the fact that I had the camera with me and so we did. She herself said that she felt uncomfortable having to pose and that it was difficult for her to stay still waiting for the picture, that's why you will see many expressions in the pictures and that's why it has that name. I leave you with the pictures I took with my friend Annel, I hope you like them.
Hola de nuevo amigos de la comunidad de Black And White, espero estén teniendo un buen día. Hace ya un tiempo, quizás un poco más del año aproximadamente, una amiga que conocí por instagram que estaba en Colombia me dijo que venía a visitar a su familia en Venezuela que es el país de donde soy, entonces me hizo prometerle que cuando viniera le tomaría unas fotografías, al poco tiempo volvió al país y me insistió por las fotos a lo que yo accedí porque me gustaba la idea, lo gracioso es que, cuando ya estábamos juntos y le dije que se preparara para empezar a hacerle las fotografías, me dijo que la sesión había sido sólo una excusa para vernos, honestamente me hizo gracia pero le dije que al menos quería hacerle algunas fotografías de igual manera para aprovechar que tenía la cámara conmigo y así lo hicimos. Ella misma aseguró que se sentía incómoda teniendo que posar y que le dificultaba quedarse quieta esperando por la fotografía, por eso verán muchas expresiones en las fotografías y por ello lleva ése nombre. Les dejo las fotografía que realicé con mi amiga Annel, espero sean de su agrado.
This is one of my favorite photographs, because even though she didn't feel comfortable, she reached a point where she felt powerful in front of the camera and this is what the photograph conveys to me, presence and power. Ésta es una de mis fotografías favoritas, porque aunque no se sentía cómoda, llegó un punto en que se sentía poderosa delante de la cámara y esto me transmite la fotografía, presencia y poder.

Being a smiling person makes the camera love you. Ser una persona sonriente hace que la cámara te quiera.
Her attempts to be serious were funny but we loved it. Sus intentos de ponerse seria eran graciosos, pero nos encantaba.
