Monomad: Walking the streets - Street photography #80 [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I've mentioned before how much I enjoy taking street photographs, knowing that I don't have anything planned beyond where I might be able to take them adds a touch of challenge to this, because you never quite know if you'll take good photographs or if something will really catch your eye.

He mencionado en otras ocasiones lo mucho que disfruto de hacer fotografías callejeras, el saber que no tengo nada planificado más allá del lugar donde quizás pueda hacerlas le da un toque de reto a esto, porque nunca sabes del todo si harás buenas fotografías o si realmente algo llamará tu atención.

Personally, when I take pictures in the street I try to focus on two things, the first is the people, they are always a fundamental factor when you want to show the daily life and the second is the situation, whether it is a person walking, the cars passing by, some animals that sadly walk without direction, there are so many things that can be striking.

En lo personal cuando hago fotos en la calle intento fijarme en dos cosas, la primera es las personas, siempre son un factor fundamental cuando quieres mostrar la cotidianidad del día a día y lo segundo es la situación, ya sea una persona caminando, los autos transitando, algunos animales que tristemente caminan sin dirección, son tantas cosas que pueden ser llamativas.

In these photographs in particular, I try not to show the faces of the protagonists so much, the reason for this beyond the fact that they are anonymous, is also a way to represent that anyone can be the protagonist in these photographs and in a way I find something curious and abstract at the same time, allowing anyone to imagine being in that place.

En estas fotografías en específico, intento que a los protagonistas no se les aprecie tanto el rostro, la razón de esto más allá de que sean anónimos, también es una forma de representar que cualquier persona puede ser el protagonista en estas fotografías y de cierta manera me parece algo curioso y abstracto al mismo tiempo, permitir que cualquiera pueda imaginar estar en ese lugar.
