Disclaimer at sea

in Black And White3 months ago (edited)

No, I did not fall into the sea. Although I would have liked to...

After a few laps to feel more connected and earthy, I took off my headphones to listen to the waves. I ended up writing a poem. And it is a fact that a downpour is the best thing for physical and mental suffocation. I knew it when I felt at least a little cold inside and out.

Water got in my eye

(((( disclaimer *** This is where cycling ended today. I went back home, where else would I go?

I had the best: physical exercise and... look at my hands. That's because of overhydration. Or I don't know... I have no vocation as a scientist.

You see... I got wet, and now what do I do with my responsibility? I said I would quit my job today. I wanted to finish it and that's it.

The clouds were not shy at all. They announced the collapse of the sky... the whole sky.

By this time, it's all Fukuoka... but without bachata 😅 and me imagining things that are not. Someone I met when I fell into a puddle in the surroundings of John Lennon Park told me she was passing through, staying in a hotel in Varadero. She wanted to see me. And me... pedalling in the wrong direction. Going to the Comodoro Hotel to get ice cream, which by the way I didn't find.

Where the hell is the red tent?

🙄

Nanyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! That's another one, not me.

She works at the Miramar Trade Center and she told me there was a red tent on the Comodoro, ice cream, all the way to the bottom go straight ahead... don't stop. I did that. But I was probably distracted.

First I sat there on the shore, of course, listening to the waves and writing the poem.

Oh, vanilla!

I don't like that flavour that much. I took a banana out of the ones I had in my backpad.

IMG_20240813_152844banana.jpg

In the absence of peanut bars I had to have some preparation because I was going to cycle 25 km.

The poem is coming... just wait a bit.

The first stop on this bike ride was my work. When I walked through the front door of the magazine I was ready to quit. Sometimes I've pushed buttons under the influence of alcohol and now the messages don't get through. 🤷‍♀ This issue of going to work was not just about pushing a button, I had to write a letter to complete the procedure. A member of the management team told me that she didn't authorise me to do that? WTF. 😥

Another hotel. I don't catch any message, poor me 😔.

"Frío, frío, como el agua del río..." 😄 🎶

I have lost my photos inside my mobile phone.

By the way, I'm bingeing on Juan Luis Guerra songs while writing this post. Here's another one.

Girl, hope you love me for God's sake, even if it's my fault you got wet.

😏

Poem anyone? This is the #Monomad.

I have no idea what Juan Luis said so I inserted my own lyrics and O-M-G, look tf out radio waves!!

With that background, it doesn't fit something strong... Juan Luis Guerra is part of my youth, my mother listened to him a lot. Sometimes I find some songs and I enjoy singing along with him. Karaokeeeee 😂
I'm already curious about those radio waves of yours!

Oh I miss being in nature like this. I hope I can visit beach again soon.

Having that hand (you call it over hydration)I will have that too when my hands are soak in water for a long time like doing the laundry and swimming for a long time.

Well, I don't know if you're near the sea or the river... it's always good to be near water, it's a great source of life and energy.
I hope you will soon be able to be in nature just enjoying it. It would be good for the baby you are carrying in your belly.

Thanks for visiting and have a nice day, @jenthoughts 😉

The nearest beach is around more than an hour travel, it seems near but having no car or vehicle is semi difficult because we need to commute. Sometimes no time too hehehe. But we are planning to go to beach soon.

sweaty is a good look!! 😂😎

great shots the skies are full of anger

You see, I'm putting my talents on display! 😉😁

indeed you are
don't stop

Oh no,,, I was surprised by some of your shots, always bringing beautiful moments, I love playing on the beach but I'm afraid of swimming 😁😁

With floats, maybe? hahaha.... thanks!

Your shots are amazing, friend.

Thank you 😇

You're welcome.

Black and white as a journey through old photographs of a gloomy day, dark and threatening clouds that make it a day of terror events ...often the days when one makes important decisions... the day seems to cry or rejoice and you can see it in the atmosphere.

The poem will come at any moment!

Well, I so enjoyed all that downpour that fell on me. I've discovered that I love cycling in the rain!

The poem... yes. It will come.

I love to walk in the rain, I go out on purpose hahaha.

😉 I'd be amazed if you told me otherwise hahaha.

Those B/W photos look amazing; a touch of sepia adds a mystical feel. The weather yesterday was pretty bad, but I figured someone would get some good shots. That spot is incredible, like the luxurious beach, blending with the modest yet powerful sea. I love it. Btw, did you get wet? Take care my friend

I imagine the colored ones are just as spectacular.

Do you want to see one? yes... 😅

IMG_20240813_151254.jpg

I like to get wet in the downpours. It's great. Water is life.

;)

The poem is the photographs that express a story that only the most observant could understand... (this is not the case of Buhito 🦉)

Those clouds, why can't I stop contemplating them? ❤️

Buhito, I don't know if I was drunk from all the water that fell on me. This is rambling, inspiration from many sources and fun... always smiling to bring back stories. 🤣

I hope you were able to stop gazing at the clouds at least for a while, so that you could do your duties. Hahaha...

¡Gracias amigos! @dimascastillo90 😉

A member of the management team told me that she didn't authorise me to do that? WTF. 😥

Exactly what was it that you weren't allowed to... to quit?

Yes, quit. She thinks I shouldn't do that.

But finally, did you do it or not?

She asked me to wait until next week. 🙆

😂 ¿cómo sabes cómo me siento?

I have been there. A long time ago.

Increíble tu ojo fotográfico, estas imágenes son una belleza, no puedo decidir cuál es mi favorita 😱😱 y el sepia le da un toque genial a todas. Saludos, @nanixxx 🤗.

😅 Ooops... Me blushing!

Jajajaja, no lo digo en broma, en serio que fotos más bellas, podrías hacer un libro sólo con esas imágenes, quedaría genial 🙌.

😃 alabao jajaja... Gracias @vezo.

I saw the poem, in the form of pictures, and I saw mayakovsky reflected in the crystals and Rodchenko teaching that: ‘You have to take several different shots of a subject, from different points of view and in different situations, as if you were examining it in the round instead of looking through the same keyhole over and over again’. The photos are superb.... I'm catching up... cheers....

These words give me pause for thought. Looking through the keyhole is so easy. It's about looking at what you know, but alien, untouchable... action and movement are the keys that open doors.

😄

...this raindrop in the sea... it made you see two great ones in the reflections... uh, unbelievable.

It wasn't that complicated to see two great ones in those tiny raindrops. They are spectacular raindrops. I really enjoyed this post. Thank you @nanixxx.

😌 thanks to you

The photos are always amazing and of course very well accompanied, it couldn't be any other way with you.

I hope the rain that moistened your body also served to lighten your soul and clear your thoughts, and the poem was always there with you.

You will see that everything will be fine, trust in yourself.

It was very, very cool to have all that rain pouring down on me while I was pedalling... it was an immense pleasure that I hadn't experienced for a long time.

I had a very nice and light day today... I thought about my next post. I also slept a lot. I feel great every time I ride my bike. I rode over 25 km yesterday.... but no more spoilers.

Gracias por tus palabras y por tu apoyo. 😉

If every thing or step you take is liberating then you are in one of the best moments of your life.

Enjoy it and live it.

It's a pleasure to read you always.

🌹

I thought things would get better after the last changes that happened in the magazine (the boss or bosses changed if I remember well?) Dejas tu trabajo?
Qué tal las manos hoy? Mejor?

hands... I think the worrying thing would be if they didn't react like that to water.

I thought things...

😒

Trabajo - Creo que llegó la hora de decir sayonara, como dice Juan Luis 😄

🎶 Ohh, caliente, como agua de la fuente. 🎶

Now I can't get the song out of my head. 😂 The pictures are amazing, like poetry.

Me pasa lo mismo 🤣 - es como una infección sonora.

¡Gracias!

I'm sure she loves you...in the rain everything is more beautiful!!! I hope you have finished the paperwork. Un abrazo Amanda.

Un abrazo. ;)
