Cold Days, Warm Sips, and Slow Moments #monomad

Hello Hive family.
Hope you all are doing well.

Last night light snowfall covered the higher peaks while the lower regions received light rain. It is a boon for us gardeners. A few days ago I planted new apple saplings in my orchard.
Watering the young plants is a must but this time the snow worked for me. Nature always knows how to balance things.

When it snows, the orchard work comes to a halt. There is no point in stepping on wet ground.
The temperature has dropped a lot. A little warmth is much needed on such days. For me that warmth comes from three small shots of whisky.😜It is not about getting drunk but about feeling the soothing warmth that spreads through my body making the cold a little more bearable.

One of my favorite things to do on these slow days is to take pictures. Which I am going to share with you all. Hope you all like these pictures. I took these photos with Sony a58 camera and edited them on Snapseed.
