Hello everyone!
Here I am again to present a new entry to the #monomad challenge.
This is more than a photographic post, it is also a trip to the past.
A few days ago I visited a place I had heard some interesting stories about, so I loaded up my equipment and went to check it out.
It is a village called Aceredo, which is submerged in the depths of a reservoir owned by an electric company.
In the driest years, when the water flow is very low, it is possible to walk through its streets again and even enter some houses.
Well, the information I had about this town was true, one more year it was seen again after coming out of the depths, it seemed to me something extraordinary...
Here you can appreciate the passing of the years...
I imagine that some person put this shoe on top of the barrel to take a picture, the idea was good so I took the opportunity to do the same...
Something very curious is that the fountain in the square was still pouring water, this makes me think that the canalization of the spring still works...
Here I felt like I was visiting a shipwreck.
I even found a pine cone...
In the courtyard of a house there were some beer crates, I guess years ago there was a bar or tavern here...
While walking through these ruins, I felt different sensations, abandonment, loneliness, sadness and at the same time curiosity... I entered one of the houses and was surprised to see that this light bulb hanging from the ceiling was still intact.
In recent days, there has been much talk about this village on television and other media, which has attracted many tourists and curious onlookers to the site to see it before it is submerged again.
And here ended my visit, I took this last picture on my way home. I hope you liked it, thank you very much for taking a few minutes to read my post. I wish you a happy weekend.
See you soon!
