I am greeted by silence ... Until recently I came here and I was met by my father - the last living among all the people of this generation who lived in old huts. He lived there alone after death his wife with several chickens and several cats. Every day he lived his quiet, harsh life, gathering water from a well, lighting firewood in a stove, pouring grain for chickens and milk for cats ... Without haste with prayer, in anticipation of death ...
And here she came. Suddenly it became quiet and the snow covered the paths and tracks of people. The huts are motionless ... Firewood for the winter ... Potatoes in the basement ... My grandfather left it as a legacy. Only a black cat is sitting near the house and waiting for the owner ...

The passing is a sad thing. We also have abandoned houses in our village, and there are also abandoned settlements in the country. We are on this planet just/only temporarily. We are just/only guests on this planet. Of course the photos are good. They have their own beauty. Just like the winter with the snow.

Your words comfort me. But it is difficult for me to answer my daughters' question: why is everything so cruel in this world - we are burying our dear people! Why a loving God allows this !!!

I also often ask this. The whole nature is based on cruelty. Animals kill and eat each other (sometimes alive) to survive. Some animals even do surplus killing (they kill out of enjoyment, and not to survive). How a loving God can create and watch this for millions of years? This a huge question.
