Hello to all the lovers of the Black and White community!
Today I want to share with you a series of images that I captured of an interesting object: a fish made of mud with a cactus on top. This unique combination of natural and artificial elements caught my attention and I couldn’t resist photographing it.
The fish was made by a local craftsman and is a sample of his skill in creating ceramic objects. The shape and texture of the fish are very interesting and photogenic, especially when combined with the presence of the cactus.
The choice of black and white photography was intentional to give a more dramatic and timeless effect to the images. By converting the images to black and white, contrasts and textures are emphasized, which makes the fish and cactus look even more detailed and with more depth.
I also played with different lighting techniques to further highlight the details of the fish and cactus and create dramatic shadows and interesting contrasts.
The combination of the texture of the mud, the shape of the fish and the presence of the cactus make this object a unique and attractive subject for black and white photography.
