Monomad - A mountain road.

in Black And White2 years ago

Hello Hive community.

I hope you all have fun. I made today's post to share in the monomad community, each of the photographs will be seen in black and white mode. I love black and white photographs. Before today I have never converted mountains and natural scenes in black and white mode. Today for the first time I will share with you the beautiful scenery of mountains and nature in black and white mode.

Today's photographs are captured on the road from Dalhousie to Pathankot. Dalhousie is a beautiful tourist destination located in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh state of India. People from all over India come to visit Dalhousie. This place is surrounded by mountains and is blessed with natural beauty. High mountains and lush green trees take the beauty of this place to the extreme. I liked this place very much. I visited this place long ago.

I remember we also went from Dalhousie to Khajjiar. Khajjir is also known as the mini Singapore of India. Khajjir has a vast and dense forest of tall deodar trees. There is a meadow in the middle of the forest. There is also a hotel nearby for food and drink. Heavy snowfall occurs here in winter so that the road to Khajjir is often closed. The entire area is hilly with winding and hilly roads.

These roads carved out of the mountains are winding and provide an overview of the natural beauty. On one side of this road there are high mountains and on the other side there is a deep valley. Water is always flowing here in the valley. The water coming from between the mountains flows continuously in the valley in the form of springs. Water flows in these springs for 12 months which never ends.

The main business of the people here is tourism. But it is not enough to provide livelihood to everyone. So people from here also do agriculture. In the above photograph it can be seen that steps are built on the mountains. Some of these steps are parallel to the ground. In the part of the paralleled land, the people here do small-scale farming so that their livelihood can run. Farming in hilly areas is the most difficult work. These agricultural workers have strong bodies and are less likely to get sick.

Living on the mountain comes with many difficulties. One is that it is difficult for children to be in school. And even if they get a school, they have to go to big cities for higher studies. Another major problem is the hospital. There are small clinics but for serious illness one has to go to hospital which is available in big centers. Apart from that, delivering electricity to homes and keeping that electricity available 24 hours is also a big issue. Apart from all this, here you get fresh air. Clean water is available. And the unearthly beauty of nature is found. Look at it and it will cool you down. And yes, there is no sign of pollution, even the stars can be seen clearly in the night sky.

The photograph above is of Dalhousiecantt. On the side of which there was a writing on the colored stone which I have also shared with you here. On the I stone is written the number of how high Dalhousie is situated above the sea level. Dalhousie is truly a beautiful place that must be visited once.
