MONOMAD MONDAY "LAKE VIEW."

Hello Hive community.

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge August 5th. The photographs of today's post are of a lake with beautiful natural scenery. The snow-capped mountain peaks around the lake describe the beauty of nature. Along with the natural scenery, I have shared with you the culture of the place and the people of the place. The lake seen in this photograph is the famous lake "Dal Lake" of Jammu and Kashmir. Dal Lake is located in the beautiful city of Srinagar in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Today I have chosen this lake for my monomad community.

In the Monomad community I post once a week out of necessity. But this time it is a little late in making the post. I discussed this topic two days ago in my post as well, so I am not repeating that discussion here. I try to do something new every time I post in the Monomad community. As part of that effort, today I present the beautiful lake with photographs of natural scenery. So my posts in monomad are more on street photography. But someone told me that street photographs don't always look good in black and white. So I am trying all the natural scenes and other pictures in black and white. I found his opinion to be true that street view is good but natural scenes also look good in black and white.

Now let me come back to my topic and talk, this lake is mainly famous for houseboats. This houseboat is because a large number of wooden houseboats can be seen here. The Hounseboat standing on the shore of the lake in the above photographs is a testimony to that. If I talk about this houseboat, it is really very beautiful and like a floating house in the lake. Tourists who come here rent this boat and spend their time here. Many plants also grow in this lake, due to which sometimes this lake becomes a floating garden.

People also earn their livelihood here by boating. A large number of tourists come here throughout the year. By making them ride in the boat or by selling flowers in the boat, the people here earn their living. In the photographs above, I have also presented to you the photographs of a person who sells flowers from a boat. His designs on boats and his art of selling flowers have captured him in my camera. The moment is still remembered when looking at these photographs.

The people who run these boats are really hardworking and self-respecting. Not only that, they take good care of the tourists who come here. The face of the person seen in the photograph above conveys many things here. In these photographs, the face seems to say a lot without saying anything. Of the later photographs, the photograph above is my favorite.

This lake turns into ice during winter. In winter, the temperature of hoi goes very low. Due to which the lake gets a different form in winter. If you look around this lake, you can see the birds on the trees enjoying the atmosphere here. Among the 2 photographs above, in the first photograph, the bird is making its nest on the branch of a tree and making arrangements for the chicks to live.

I really liked Srinagar. This city is endowed with the beauty of nature. In which nature has left no stone unturned to put her beauty. This beautiful city is surrounded by high mountains on all sides. People are eager to visit Srinagar in winter but in summer time this place becomes very popular for tourists. A large number of people come here to enjoy the natural beauty. Srinagar has its own cultural heritage. Srinagar also has a large market for shawls and colorful carpets.
