MONOMAD WEDNESDAY "SCULPTURES"

in Black And White5 months ago

Hello Hive community.

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge July 23rd. These photographs were captured on camera during a visit to the beautiful city of Brussels, Belgium. Brussels is a beautiful city with historic buildings still intact. Sculptures can be seen on every famous square in Brussels or in famous gardens. My post today is based on sculpture no. Every time I try something new in black and white. Apart from today's post, in the next 2 posts, I shared natural scenes in the black and white community, then in the next post, I shared some photographs of street music in the black and white community. The black and white community has given me a lot of love, so I am inspired to share some new posts with diverse photographs in this community.

Each sculpture in my post today was captured on camera during a visit to Brussels. When we stayed in Brussels, we toured the whole city by bus one day. These photographs are also captured from the bus, so in many photographs you will also see the reflection of the glass. The momentum seen in the two photographs above is la Gloire de l'Infanterie Belge monument located in Brussels. The memorial honors the bravery and sacrifice of those Belgian infantrymen. The monument commemorates the important role played by the infantry in the defense of Belgium. All this information was given to us by the guid present inside the bus.

The two photographs shown above are of The Square of Petit Sablon. The Square of Petit Sablon is a beautiful garden. Different sculptures have been installed on the revolving wall of the garden. In the photograph above, a sculpture of this appearance was also standing on the wall, which has been captured. In this photograph, I have presented 2 sculptures here, but there are at least thirty or more such sculptures all around the garden.

The Square of Petit Sablon houses more than 30 unique sculptures. So if I think about Brussels, history was important. Each sculpture seen in the above photographs presents its own unique characteristics and ethos. The people of Brussels believed in hard work and industrial development. Which has been presented here through different sculptures.

Each of the sculptures seen in the three photographs above is located in a different area of Brussels. These three sculptures present to you the history of Brussels. We have already discussed two photographs out of the three photographs above, but the discussion of one remains. The first of the three photographs above is of The Godefroid de Bouillon Statue. The Godefroid de Bouillon Statue is a famous monument in Brussels, Belgium. The Godefroid de Bouillon was the first ruler of that Kingdom of Jerusalem. His aim was to liberate Jerusalem from Muslim rule.

Each of these sculptures represents the rich history of Brussels. I loved visiting Brussels by bus. The buildings here have preserved the historical heritage till now. Each building presents its own words. Each of the buildings has sculptures and statues of the greats that represent their history.

Please let me know what you think of these photographs from my post today. So I get some idea for my next post too.

I hope that my post will be accepted for the #monomad challenge July 23rd .

I sincerely thank you for visiting and reading my post.
