I've always loved portraits, but I always feel like I'm a lousy portrait photographer. I was taking a couple of shots of my wife and our baby because I like having the memories of these early days/months/years. When I went to doing some edits, I came across this particular shot and fell in love with it. The shadow across my son's face, the angle of my wife looking down at him... it all just felt so GOOD. Quite frankly, this shot has inspired me to work on my portrait game a bit harder.
