This photo is a few years old now, but I always come across it when I’m scrolling through my phone. This is the tea room at the Shofuso House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It’s a traditional Japanese house that was taken down, shipped to the U.S., and reconstructed for the sake of sharing its beauty. Despite being on the outskirts of a bustling place like Philly, it was quite relaxing to just walk around in such a beautiful structure.
