Hello to all lovers of black and white photos. I'm in Venice today in St. Mark's Square. This is a huge area surrounded by palaces. In front of me is the grand Basilica of San Marco. It is an eleventh century building that is a symbol of the luxury, wealth and power of Venice. In front are statues of four bronze horses, but these are copies. They were brought from Constantinople. The approximate age of the original horses is the fourth century BC.
Привіт усім любителям чорно-білих фотографій. Я сьогодні в Венеції на площі Сан-Марко. Це величезна площа, оточена палацами. Перед мною грандіозна базиліка сан Марко. Це будівля одинадцятого століття, яка є символом розкоші, багатства і могутності Венеції. Спереду є статуї чотирьох бронзових коней, але це копії. Вони були привезені з Константинополя. Приблизний вік оригіналу коней - четверте століття до нашої ери.
And next to it stands a towering bell tower of the eighth century. The height of the bell tower is almost a hundred meters. This height determines the fact that this tower used to be both a bell tower and a lighthouse.
One day the bell tower was damaged and collapsed. But the authorities completely restored the details and strengthened this high bell tower.
I am glad to be able to see the beauty that people made with their hands many centuries ago.
І поряд стоїть височезна дзвіниця восьмого століття. Висота дзвіниці майже сто метрів. Така висота зумовлює те, що раніше ця башта була і дзвіницею, і маяком.
Одного разу дзвіниця була пошкоджена і розвалилася. Але владою було повністю відновлено до деталей і укріплено цю високу вежу- дзвіницю.
Я радію, що можу оглядати таку красу, яку зробили люди руками багато століть тому.
I walked for a long time and inspected the buildings in Venice. I am sure that everyone should visit Venice at least once - a city on the water. Sometimes water comes and floods the area. Gondolas with gondoliers float through the canals.
Tired of impressions and emotions, you can drink coffee or prosecco in the nearest cafe.
And in the evening, when the lights began to shine, it became very romantic.
Я довго гуляла і оглядала споруди в Венеції. Я впевнена, що кожен має хоч раз побувати в Венеції- місто на воді. Іноді вода прибуває і затоплює площі. Каналами пропливають гондоли з гондольєрами.
Втомившись від вражень і емоцій можна попити кави чи просеко в найближчому кафе.
А вечором, коли почали світити вогні, стало дуже романтично.
