Assuming this as an axiom in my daily life, with these #photos, I intend to share with you my entry to the #monomad contest promoted by @monochromes and @brumest.
All the #photographs were taken while I was enjoying the play Nave Oficio de Isla. A play directed by that great #Cuba acting and theatrical director Osvaldo Doimeadiós.
The work itself offers an infinite stream of moments demanded by any photographer who seeks to capture emotions in their various expressions.
The play of angles and monochromatic contrasts, through codes, that lead us through the history of an event that occurred in #Cuba (we are referring to the year 1900 where 1,200 Cuban teachers were taken to study at Harvard University and which in the work is shown through exquisite dramaturgy) becomes a motivating element to go beyond the achievement of close-ups in relation to the movements of the actors.
Although I never abandoned the idea of achieving low-angle movements and close-ups, note the details achieved in the background planes of each image.
I also enjoyed being able to capture a remarkable richness of expressions on the faces and gestures of the audience.
As a curiosity, I tell you that initially I had not planned anything special. It was a night in which I almost didn't manage to enjoy the work, but the monochrony of life adjusted to allow me this result that I hope you enjoy and tell me what you think.
I took those photos with an Iphone SE mobile phone and edited them in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic.
Every moment is ideal to go hunting for any frame that we can freeze in time through the contrasts of #blackandwhite in #photography.Thank you for reading!
Asumido esto como axioma en mi cotidianidad, con estas fotos, pretendo compartirles mi entrada al concurso #monomad promovido por @monochromes y @brumest.
Todas las fotografías fueron realizadas mientras disfrutaba de la obra de teatro Nave Oficio de Isla. Una obra dirigida por ese grande de la actuación y dirección teatral de #cuba Osvaldo Doimeadiós.
La obra en sí ofrece un raudal infinito de instantes demandados por cualquier fotógrafo que prentenda capturar emociones en sus diversas expresiones.
El juego de ángulos y contrastes monocromáticos, a través de códigos, que nos conducen por la historia de un hecho acontecido en #cuba (nos referimos al año 1900 donde se llevaron 1200 maestros cubanos a estudiar a la Universidad de Harvard y que en la obra se muestra mediante una dramaturgia exquisita) deviene elemento motivador para volcarnos más allá de la consecución de primeros planos en relación a los movimientos de los actores.
Si bien nunca abandoné la idea de conseguir movimientos y primeros planos en contrapicado, nótese los detalles logrados en los planos de fondo de cada imagen.
Disfruté además el haber podido capturar una riqueza notable de expresiones en los rostros y gestos por parte del público.
Como curiosidad, les cuento que inicialmente no había planificado nada especial. Era una noche en la que incluso por poco no logro entrar a disfrutar de la obra, pero la monocronía de la vida se ajustó para permitirme este resultado que espero disfruten y me comenten qué les parece.
Tomé esas fotografías con un teléfono móvil Iphone SE y las edité en Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic.
