Hail to the Hive!
Due to the nature of my visit to India I am spending a lot of time by the water, visiting scuba diving operations and meeting people who manage their own businesses in that field. Every now and then I veer off when I see the boats that generally everyone is ignoring as I’m drawn to the imagery.
On more than one occasion now I have had to explain what I am doing as they are clearly wondering why I am taking photos of old neglected boats. “ you want to buy?” Errr no mate just like the look of it. “You like? I know the owner I can introduce you” no it’s ok just taking photos 😂
“ look here I have much newer one!” Yeah but it don’t look as cool and ain’t gonna make the monomad grade bud, sorry.
But in all seriousness it’s been a gold mine of great content and India in general is a photographers paradise no matter what kind of shots or style you want to capture.
I just seem to almost see in black and white at the moment though, not sure why, but as soon as I see certain things That monochrome tractor beam comes dragging me in.
I will be posting some other stuff from this trip soon as to say it has been amazing is an understatement but there’s still a ton of monochromatic India coming your way
Cos I do….
I went to Goa in the 80s. I had my hair braided at a local market .... by a woman from Bournemouth! Loved the place.
I'll be going to Goa later this year. India is fab! I am loving it. Kicking myself for not coming before
Glad you are enjoying it. Look forward to seeing your adventures!
Cheers @brumest and all the @qurator crew!
