The first month of summer is coming to an end. And I'm still dreaming of at least a little vacation somewhere in the mountains by the river...
And corn is already growing in the garden, soon children will be able to enjoy one of their favorite vegetables again. But that time has not yet come.
But I have pictures of how it was on Tuesday when I picked a bowl of corn cobs in the garden and boiled them. Then we waited until the corn was cooked, and it steamed on the table, the steam rising in thin snakes, curling in the rays of the sun.
And then we all feasted on delicious corn, including the children: Darinka, Markiyan and my husband's nephew, Yaremchyk. I tried to convey their emotions in a photo. They were different for everyone. What do you think?
Перший місяць літа вже підходить до кінця. А я ще в мріях хоча б про маленький відпочинок десь в горах біля річки...
А на городі вже підростає кукурудза, скоро діти знову зможуть ласувати одним зі своїх найулюбленіших овочів. Але цей час ще не настав.
Але у мене є фотографії, як це було вторік, коли я зібрала на городі миску кукурудзяних початків і зварила їх. Потім ми чекали, доки кукуруза вистигне, а вона парувала на столі, пара піднімалась вгору тонкими змійками, звиваючись у променях сонця.
А потім ми усі ласували смачною кукурудзою, зокрема діти: Даринка, Маркіян та племінник мого чоловіка Яремчик. Їхні емоції я намагалася передати на фото. В кожного вони були різні. Які, як ви гадаєте?
