From the archives: a photographer’s reflection

It's been exciting to think about photography every day again. I can't even remember the last time I felt this eager to talk about it and even more to create. The NFT space has connected me with such intense artists and profound works that from time to time I feel an immense urge to reconnect with the dedicated artist I used to be.

It frustrates me that life and capitalist demands keep pulling me away from art for so long, but deep down I know that as long as I live this spark and the need to create will always be within me.

I took these photos back in 2016 or at least I think so. I recently came across them while searching for unseen images in my portfolio. Suddenly I realized they had something, something good in their own way, and I wanted to share them here and on my Rodeo profile. By the way, is anyone else using that platform? Oh, and after finding these photos, I called this series "Note for today: don't die."

With these images I am joining today’s #Monomad challenge.

They are beautiful and very original photographs, I loved them!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked them. They carry a lot of the atmosphere I always try to bring to my work.

The pictures have a sinister touch that I like. Good work... Did you keep making the magazine?

I love this somewhat mysterious vibe.

The magazine project is on hold for now. Unfortunately, keeping everything running the way we envisioned wasn’t sustainable, as our team has other jobs and we couldn’t give it the attention it deserves. We still have plans to bring it back in the future, but for now, it remains dormant.

But I’m really happy that you remember the magazine, that means a lot! Thank you.

I know from experience how hard it is to maintain projects of the heart.... People have their own issues to solve and dreams are often relegated to pay attention to what solves an instant problem 😉.

I do remember it because I liked that magazine a lot.

Greetings!
